This particular piece is inspired by the vibrant colors and hype culture that colors our transport system. More specifically the “Matatu’s”. Usually bold, lively and at times pumped up with the latest “trap” & “hip-hop” tracks, they serve as a unique transport phenomena that can only be experienced in Nairobi. Art and music on wheels is what we’d call it. “Buuda!!” It therefore forms an essential part of our collection, “Nairobi Unfinished”.
